Jose Raul Colon, AKA JCee Colon was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico but spent much of his life in New York, having the opportunity to experience both cultures, the island and the concrete jungle. In Puerto Rico he learned and listened to all the sounds of salsa, bolero and folk music. In the 80's he began to be a DJ, taught by El Unico DJ Edwin Santana, one of the favorites of the Puerto Rican club “The Flying Saucer”, in Isla Verde, being a regular in the salsa scene of that time working as a DJ and promoter. On the other hand, also raised in New York, he had the experience of listening to and taking to the street all kinds of dance including break dance, Hip Hop and Freestyle.
When he moved to Florida JCee continued to build relationships in the world of salsa, as a promoter he began to meet people like Maestro Ernesto ¨Tito¨ Rivera, Mike Rivera, Jesús Manuel Martínez, Daniel Peña, Josué Rodríguez, José Ruiz, Julián Cifuentes , Andy Guzmán, Hiram Rivera "El Típico", Franco Jiménez and several great musicians from South Florida.
His passion for this genre led him to create his own orchestra, in 2017 he formed ¨Zalsa en Control¨ with musical director Tito Rivera, who worked with Frankie Ruiz, Anthony Cruz, Orquesta Mulense, Victor Manuelle, among others, and 11 musicians. experienced musicians from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela and Peru with great success in their presentations and after accompanying the orchestra on stages in Florida for 5 years, JCEE Colon now opens his new stage as solo salsa singer with the autobiographical song ¨Quiero Ser Campeón ¨ to give the public joy and emotion for a good dance.
The new generation of salsa is born here, JCee Colón, with a warm and unique voice will sing the stories of life that happen to us daily, but with a different instrumentation, achieving a more modern salsa.

Alida Hernandez is a first-generation American born in New York City from Puerto Rican parents Ismael “Izzy” Hernandez and Maria Caceres. Both her parents were pianists and composers. She has two sons living in Boca Raton, Florida. Currently, she speaks English, Spanish, and understands Brazilian Portuguese. She began dance classes at the age of 7 and continued until her mid-20s. In 1983, she attended modeling/makeup artist school “D’Rose Agency” where she started her modeling career from 1983 to 1988. In 1984, she was a contestant in Miss Hispano-Americano and competed in the International Modeling competition at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, NYC.
Alida was greatly influenced by her grandfather, Avelino Caceres, who was a certified Radio & TV engineer. Since she was 11 years old, she would help her grandfather repair radio and television. Also, for fun would solve math problems in Algebra and Calculus since her grandfather had a natural ability to numbers. With her strong abilities in math and technology she began working in the Information Technology field in 1982 as an intern and later as a full-time employee and was involved in the acquisition and installation of the first personal computers at CBS, Inc. in New York City. She had the honor of creating the first “Introduction to Personal Computers” training course for employees at CBS Inc. She also worked in companies such as Bear Stearns and Prudential-Bache, Disney, Pacific Theatres to name a few. Her technical abilities continue to grow over the years working in various companies in NYC, Los Angeles then Florida. Alida had worked in the banking industry managing technology infrastructures and had the opportunity to work as a IT Project Manager at Harris Corporation, American technology company, defense contractor, and information technology services provider. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management in and attended Keller Graduate School of Business.
Alida wanted to combine technology with art and music, so she developed her abilities in social media and graphics as a graphic artist using Adobe Creative Suite of applications as well as an influencer leveraging several social media pages.
Since 2012, Alida began working in the entertainment industry as Alida Promo. She began promoting local artists such as Marlow Rosado, a 2x Grammy winner in 2013, Ariel Nan, Melina Almodovar and many other local Latin artists.
In 2013, Alida decided to begin her own magazine called Nuestro Magazine, a lifestyle multicultural magazine focusing on art, music, entertainment, and community. Alida has interviewed many celebrities over the years such as Bret Michaels, Phil Collins, Emilio Estefan, and DJ Irie to name a few. Alida has appeared on MegaTV, Americateve, Telemundo as well as Radio. Alida Hernandez stays very busy also as General Manager of “JCee Colon y Zalsa En Control” Orchestra, a 12-piece Salsa Band. Alida is also part of a 501c3 nonprofit foundation, Mujeres En Paz, a foundation to help Hispanic women and all women in the music industry that are or have suffered any abuse or retaliation.
In 2022, Alida conducted captivating interviews for the enriching wellness podcast @rebootedthepodcast which nourishes the body, mind, soul, and spirit. Currently, Alida has opened Studio 33 (@studio33fll) in Fort Lauderdale FL.
